JW^® Pet and PetSmart^® Announce 2013 “VideoDOGrapher” Contest Winner

Arlington, TX (July 3, 2013) – Earlier this year, Petmate’s JW Pet and PetSmart joined forces to challenge pet owners to create and submit a funny, original video of their dog (or dogs) playing with a JW Pet dog toy. On June 27, Steve Sowrey from Austin, TX was named the 2013 “VideoDOGrapher” video contest grand-prize winner and won a tricked-out 2013 Jeep Wrangler from Austin’s South Point Dodge. Ten runner-up winners won $50 worth of JW Pet Toys.

When choosing the winning video, judges reviewed each entry carefully for creativity and originality. “Steve’s video showed creativity, humor and an incredibly well-trained dog!” says Emilye Schmale, Corporate Communications Manager for Petmate. “It also told a story and kept the judges entertained from beginning to end. It was an Intelligent idea with a very happy pet, and that’s what JW is all about.”
